You know I also make games, but I can't imagine what it's like to make very complex games, I would only take a long time to do it alone without help to make all the sprites in detail and those things I admire you luck with your creations
Glad to hear you are interested in the game. However, I'm afraid that the situation is the same with an official Mac build as it is with the Linux build someone asked for a while back; we probably won't be making an official Mac build, as we cannot provide support for this platform at the level we would like to, due to the relatively small player base.
If you are interested in the game, you can buy it on consoles. We also support Steam Deck, if you happen to have one. These builds are extensively tested by us, and other gamers, and have a great experience out of the box – something we could not guarantee for a Mac build right now.
There has been reports from other users that the game runs great with compatibility tools like Wine. The game also runs great on Proton on Steam Deck, so this also a good sign. If you want to give it a shot, you can try running the demo with these tools before deciding on buying the full version.
At this point, we probably will not be making an official Linux version, as we cannot provide support for this platform at such a good level as we would want to. Linux comes in such many flavors - yet has a relatively small player base, so providing a official build with official support is a bit tricky for us at the time being. I hope you can understand :)
I have been following this game from the very first demo. I finally bought it on Humblebundle for a discount, played through it, and have to agree with the criticism I've seen several reviewers give in that the game is simply too short. I was emotionally engaged throughout! The story was great, the characters and world was great, the gameplay was great.... Everything was great!!! Except for the fact it was too short! After beating the final boss I expected there to be much more left but then... Bam. The end?
All I can say to the Third Spirit Games team is this: You have an excellent game engine already built. An excellent world and characters and gameplay. Please give us more content. I waited for this game for so long, it was kinda disappointing after all this time for it to have been so short. Maybe you can do the "3 years later" sequel as a DLC or content addon pack??? It seems like it would be a waste to make us wait for another year or so for an entire new game to be made when I don't feel half the mileage has been squeezed out of this one yet.

Will there ever be a Mac version? This looks really cool, and the only thing stopping me from buying it is that I can't play it.

A Linux version would be nice.
