However, I'm afraid that the situation is the same with an official Mac build as it is with the Linux build someone asked for a while back; we probably won't be making an official Mac build, as we cannot provide support for this platform at the level we would like to, due to the relatively small player base.
If you are interested in the game, you can buy it on consoles. We also support Steam Deck, if you happen to have one. These builds are extensively tested by us, and other gamers, and have a great experience out of the box – something we could not guarantee for a Mac build right now.
There has been reports from other users that the game runs great with compatibility tools like Wine. The game also runs great on Proton on Steam Deck, so this also a good sign. If you want to give it a shot, you can try running the demo with these tools before deciding on buying the full version.
At this point, we probably will not be making an official Linux version, as we cannot provide support for this platform at such a good level as we would want to. Linux comes in such many flavors - yet has a relatively small player base, so providing a official build with official support is a bit tricky for us at the time being. I hope you can understand :)

Will there ever be a Mac version? This looks really cool, and the only thing stopping me from buying it is that I can't play it.
